"Really enjoyed our short stay and visiting this area. Walkable distance from the station and lake. A full Japanese-style breakfast was beautifully presented with some alternatives also on offer - fruit, eggs, bacon etc. We visited in May when the hotel and Suwa generally were very quiet so we were able to enjoy the hotel facilitie - the modern reception area and onsen. Good size room with twin beds. Go for one with a lake view if possible."

"Enjoyed our one night stay here. Booked one hour private onsen and thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and waterfall scene. Also did the public onsen and enjoyed it as well. Yukata clothing and towels are provided. Excellent service and a sense of luxury even though the hotel itself is dated. Good breakfast."

The service included dinner and breakfast in a private room with amazing local food and a lovely waitress who spoke decent English and explained every dish to us. There is also a lovely open rooftop Onsen. The room is large and very comfortable like an apartment. All of the staff were amazing. Fantastic "
