"We began our trip to Sri Lanka at Taavetti, and it was the perfect choice. The hotel arranged an airport pickup for us, making the two-hour drive smooth and scenic. Galle was an excellent starting point, and Taavetti proved to be the ideal place to stay.

"Where to start, these guys cancelled our entire booking because we were late for check in leaving us stuck in a monsoon with our 3 month old infant. When we finally got into the property the next day, a solid hardwood curtain rod fell on my partners head who was holding our kid. Very luckily only she was hurt.
The restaurant was basically not working. The bar was shut. I get that its the off season but say this in your booking profile.
When we decided to leave after 1 night to head to Unawatuna...
