Everything was great

Lovely property, excellent staff. We did have a problem with our original room which had a rather strange smell, this was quickly dealt with by the front desk staff and we were relocated to another room which was lovely. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious, service good and staff friendly. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Friendly staff. Cozy restaurant/bar. Nice rooms. Close to city center yet adjacent to a trail through the woods in a county park.

Fun place to stay, if one has never stayed in a castle!

Perfect hotel

This is exactly what a hotel stay should be, amazing service, fabulous rooms, great location and a quality restaurant/bar onsite.

The Hotel surrounded by green fields, very relaxing. Room was small but it had everything we needed for a few days away. Bar below wasn't open. We used the pool and the spa, and had a massage while we were there, it was lovely. We would go back

The room had a balcony overlooking the sea — so beautiful & peaceful. Breakfast was wonderful!

very accommodating, great location

Quiet hotel location in beautiful countryside. Rooms clean and spacious. Included breakfast good, with help yourself cereal, yogurt, and pastries plus cooked to order hot breakfast. I didn't try it but Sunday lunch is supposed to be great. Finally, the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. All in all a great stay for a very reasonable price.

This was probably the best hotel experience we've had in years. The staff was the best we've ever interacted with. They offer a wine and cheese night Monday through Wednesday and their breakfast is excellent. Staff treated us like family and they acted as if they were owners of a bed and breakfast. The laundry room works very well and the gym was very nice. We stayed there for 8 days. The location is perfect and Central to everything you want to do in Newcastle.
