Visited Tarascon-sur-Ariege and surrounding area. Food at the hotel's restaurant (Bellevue) was delicious and service was prompt. Also enjoyed the local wines. All staff were very helpful even though their English and our French needed a bit of help (thanks to Lovely Planet translation books). Pricing for accommodation was appropriate. The hotel is totally renovated, upscale, modern, rooms are comfortable but European sized. The hotel is conveniently located to laundromat (steps away),...
Didn’t have much of a Mountain View, but the room was spacious and perfect! They had champagne and snacks in my room. The staff was first class. Food in the restaurant was amazing!! Just perfect!!!
This place is beautiful and we were completely pampered the entire time. The pools are only for guests ages 13 and older, so our 8 year old could not swim, but otherwise it was an amazing experience. The staff went above and beyond for us, and were very welcoming. Highly recommend!
Beautiful, peaceful property in the countryside, only a few minutes from Foix. The proprietress is lovely, and the food is very good. Note the wifi is spotty and a bit slow, but manageable, and there is no air conditioning. Despite these issues, we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing stay at Le Clos Cathala.
Nice hotel located out of the hustle and rush of Andorra. Restaurant food was good and front desk staff was helpful.
One negative thing that did occur is after dinner, we sat in the bar area at one of the tables. Not a soul approached to offer service, which we found to be quite disheartening considering the experience up to that point. After waiting 25 minutes, and simply being stared by the staff, we just went to our room.
I totally screwed up and failed to notify the hotel that I was arriving after 8, but they did an awesome job of making sure I was all set. The location is amazing and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Excellent value.
This was my 2nd stay, 10 years apart. Still a beautiful hotel in a great location. Comfortable room and bed. Very friendly staff. I definitely recommend this place.
