I stayed there during Olomouc half marathon event and the hotel made our stay very pleasant by providing bottle of water, protein bars and discount on special marathon menu in their restaurant. They also prolonged their SPA opening hours until midnight so that runners could go rest in there after the evening race. The rooftop SPA has a nice sauna, whirlpool, chillout area and a bar.

We got a good discount through hotels.com and saved a bunch of money by not booking through the hotel directly. The spa was really fantastic. The room was beautiful and very well kept. We came to Olomouc with a group of summer abroad students. The Clarion hotel is a much upgraded version of a previous hotel named Sigma. It is new, clean and modern. The hotel is just opposite the train station and about 25 minutes walk or four tram stops from the upper and lower squares (the old center of Olomouc). The staff spoke English and was helpful.
