"I love this hotel. It is perfectly placed on the Neumarkt Square by the Frauenkirche, within the old town. It is a top, top quality hotel with fantastic rooms, an awesome breakfast buffet and roof top bar. The staff are personable, helpful and welcoming. Just spending time at this hotel, with the room window open onto the square and the sound of the church bells peeling, along with the gentle chatter from the cafes and restaurants below is worth the trip to Dresden alone. "A very nice girl checked me in and she asked if I would prefer a female only room since I was assigned a mixed room. And there were only two of us for six beds. The shower pressure was fabulous and it was perfectly heated water. There was a fair amount of noise in the hallways but luckily it calmed down at a reasonable time. Thank you, A & O: all I hoped for was a good night sleep so it was a great stay. "
