"Very nice "

"Overall, the hotel grounds and nice and maintained. I can say the rooms were nice and spacious as well. The only problem is outside noise in the apartment. My 1 bedroom was outside of the pool with kids constantly screaming. I was able to tune it out but the bedroom located in the back faced the road and you can clearly hear every car driving by. Thankful the road is clamber at night. On my second day there was a high pitched loud buzzing sound coming from the courtyard. I couldn’t tune this sound out and it was extremely irritating. I walked around to see where it was coming from and finally asked the front desk if I could change rooms. I also noticed my balcony door didn’t close all the way. The front desk said we don’t have any other one bedrooms available and said nobody ever complained about this noise. I offered to take a downgrade or even pay for an upgrade to no avail. I convinced them to come hear the sound and they finally agreed and learned the sound was coming from a motor outside of my room. They shut off the motor and all was well and they sent someone to fix the door. The motor was back on my last day but I just dealt with it. The front desk could have handled the situation better and offered some accommodation rather than dismissing my claims. Overall it’s a nice place but not relaxing and staff could have been better. I’d think twice before booking this place or at least book a room on the higher floor to avoid the noise. "

"Overall, the stay was okay, but I expected more for a boutique 4-star hotel. Breakfast was included, but honestly, it could be much better. The coffee tasted very weak, almost like water. Sometimes the fruit was sliced extremely thin, to the point it was almost transparent. When I mentioned this to the staff, nothing was changed and my plate was not replaced. On one occasion, there was also a chipped plate, and when I pointed it out to the waiter, there was no reaction. There were also hygiene concerns — at times the chef would cut onions and then fruit, which affected the taste of the fruit. Another issue was that one of the staff members started cleaning around 10:30, even though breakfast is served until 11:00. The cleaning products had a very strong chemical smell, and one day it even caused an allergic reaction for me. Additionally, there was an issue with ants — I noticed a large number of ants coming from the wall in one of the corners of the room, which was quite unpleasant. On the positive side, the front desk staff were very kind and helpful — they really made the stay better. The room was always clean and well maintained. However, for a 7-night stay, only two coffee capsules were provided in the room, which also feels below the standard expected from a 4-star hotel. Overall, the hotel has potential, but more attention should be given to service quality, especially the breakfast staff and kitchen practices. I hope the hotel can improve these areas in the future."

"Really unique and cool hotel in a nice, safe area. The staff was great and very helpful. The pool was a little underwhelming, but they did the best they could with the space they have. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance."

"Perfect location - not far by bike or cab to the beaches. Lots of sargassum on the beach when we went so we’re happy not to be staying by it. Close to town. Very safe area. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and big. Pool is great fun. Breakfast each day (included for us) was excellent. Would stay here again for sure. Cabs cost about $20/$25USD to beach or town but you ride a bike (free) or walk. "

"Everyone and everything was wonderful. My only gripe is that the maintenance man walked in unannounced and that was very concerning for a group of women. I did complain to the owner about it. "
