"Most of the employees were rude,there were a few really nice ones,Joe,Gemma and I didn’t get the other ladies name but she was housekeeping staff,all the front desk staff were rude,the female bartender that was working Wednesday March 19th had a 💩attitude,she had 3 customers at the bar and made us wait 15 minutes to order our way overpriced pasta that we all got sick after eating it,it took 40 minutes after we ordered to get 2 orders of pasta.We liked that it was close to the beach and everything was in walking distance.I feel like the water in the lobby could be filled more often as it was always empty or when it was full there were no cups.Breakfast was just ok,the restaurant definitely wasn’t worth the money and the fact that there were so many drunk people running around,this location is NOT family friendly like the Compass Hotel in Pigeon Forge.Also there were so many loud dogs on our floor it was very annoying hearing barking dogs.And don’t ask for a late checkout as you will be greeted with an attitude from the front desk,I don’t know the ladies name I’m sure she wasn’t a mgr but she was working March 19th she had a💩attitude also,myself and my kids had to rush to get out by 11:00am after being sick all night from the hotel’s restaurant food.Also when I booked this hotel4months ago there was a glitch&1of my kids got left off,I tried for 3 weeks to straighten it out&the rude ass staff kept refusing to help me,so I had2rebook&pay$500more&nooceanviewroom"

"First the place is DIRTY and everything is janky and broken. Definitely not as advertised plus the rooms are tiny. The ONLY good thing was the proximity to the beach and the view. The pull out queen couch was actually a twin futon. The queen bed was actually a full size Murphy bed. The wifi didnt work, the tv was also broken. The shower was moldy, did drain properly so you stood in water and the knob kept falling off. All the furniture was unstable and half broken. We forfeited 2 nights just to move somewhere else. I didn't even care that we didn't get a refund. Did I mention DIRTY 0/10"

"room was clean and great, had a beautiful beach view, outside pools were great, hot tub was great but inside pool and hot tub was not the cleanest. staff was friendly, there was a small arcade inside very affordable and fun for the group. theres a plaza with everything right behind the hotel, lots of food spots nearby. overall would recommend."

"The Cove hotel was clean & staff were always friendly. One issue - We were not notified that the pool was ripped out and under construction until October 2026. I happened upon a recent review to find out this information. Fortunately, after calling, the hotel right next door (Plantation Island) are letting guests from The Cove use their pools at no charge! They have 2 large pools (1 heated), 3 hot tubs and a kiddie pool. The Cove responded quickly to any requests I had and offered express check out through text. The rooms are nicely updated with great ocean views. We willl definitely stay here again once the pool is completed."

"Great resort for families. Plenty of activities for the kids. The pool is fun with lots of areas to explore but still close enough to keep an eye on the kids. Lots of options for types of rooms to accommodate any family. We stayed in the lodge with an ocean view - loved it! I wish there were more options for dining - maybe a breakfast buffet. Maybe there was a breakfast buffet and I didn’t know? Not sure. But overall a great trip. There are some great local restaurants right near the resort. There’s also a Publix very close to grab essentials when needed. The golf course was well kept and nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely time. Highly recommend. We will likely com back "
