"Loved my stay at Wadari Retreat Villa Ubud! Such a nice and clean place - they cleaned the room and changed towels every day, and even provided water daily for brushing teeth. The villa has a beautiful style and it’s in a great location, close to my favorite breakfast spot in Ubud. Only thing to note: there’s no elevator, but honestly everything else made up for it. I’d totally stay here again!"

Sure, some of the older villas are a bit basic in terms of what the have to offer I.e no kitchen etc, but with so many amazing restaurants nearby, including Sacred Rice just across the road, and travellers espresso just a few short steps away, why would you need a kitchen anyway. "We had a lovely two day stay here! Very nice rooms, quiet, and extra services, such as massage and free shuttle to Ubud city center. Very good breakfast and we were even able to take the breakfast to go on our last day as we were leaving early. Would stay here again and recommend to friends! "

"Villa Tupai has beautiful gardens and lovely traditional timber buildings, but is let down by the staff and details. The staff have a bad habit of lingering around when they are not needed and with a huge area of gardens and living areas, choosing to wait all day until you are in an area to come and clean around you, spoiling the peace and quiet.
