"This place NO MATTER WHAT is going on, on the outside world..let me down. In fact and i will surely never especially now a days say that about too many properties in the Downtown Detroit vicinity and inner/outer suburbian areas such as..Troy, Southfield Farmington..just a lot of hype with not much else. The Shinola prides themselves on a one of a kind, unique, personalized experience whether yolur 1st or 5th time. Each time is a new experience, adventure scenery. All of the bedding/beds is PLUSH! If you have stuff things too do, hit the bed last thing bc you WILL MELT right into it. Honestly could rant and rave about this entire place however, seeing is believing. If you are looking for peaceful, blackout, hot showers, in room dining and just some good ole me time heres your place. You want a terrace balcony room with a mini bar anc in the heart of the party, this is a classy, boutique hotel. No self parking. Valet only.Within walking distance of anything your heart fancies!! "
"I’m a traveler and this was by far the BEST VACATION EVER. The hotel is top tier. The employees are top tier. Brianna at the front desk is my bestie and she don’t even know it. You don’t need Uber or Lyft everything is walkable. You can catch the Dax bus for $6.00 to and from the airport and guess where it lets u off at?? Dead in front of this hotel. The only stop so you will not be lost. I can’t wait to return. Thank you Hotel Indigo yall are the Best. "
