We went for a weekend with our cavapoo. TBH had little treat box, dog towel and little sleeping mat. We brought many of our own things but nice to make him feel welcomed. We had a great stay. I was looking for a quintessential English experience for my sons and loved staying at this classic establishment. It’s right in town center so can be a bit noisy at night with windows open since it was quite warm. Only one fan, but to make up for it the staff was great, thank you to Matilda, Vickie, Rickie and Sue and the others that were there that really were so genuine and helpful. Food was great!

The room had everything I needed, and it was great to "live" above a vibrant pub with a folk music culture.
