My brother and I were only in town for one night, and this hotel provided everything necessary for a great stay. We arrived before check-in time and early rooms weren't available, but the staff provided luggage storage which allowed us to explore the city and check off several things before returning for our room. I didn’t speak German and the front desk staff were so helpful and spoke great English. The included breakfast was so delicious. You couldn’t beat their location. It was in the middle of everything. My daughter is at the university there so when I visit I will stay there.

Wow, right outside the famous Heidelberg towers and our rooms over looked the bridge and the river! Perfection. Beautiful old world sitting room to grab a coffee and wait for the rest of our group! We were so lucky to be there for Christmas Markets. It was perfect

Great location esp if your using trains

Wonderful stay all around. We stayed for two weeks and would definitely do it again! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were super clean and modern, not to mention huge compared to other hotels. We were very happy to have air conditioning as it was quite warm during our stay. I recommend getting a room in the main building if possible. I was in a side building with no elevator, and with some physical issues I had, it was difficult to carry my bags. The restaurant was excellent, and known for its grilled beef dishes. The hotel is conveniently located for bicycling along and into the nearby hills. It's also conveniently located for hiking. Was having a good time staying there, very helpful stuff and clean rooms

Since it's small, it had a more intimate feel. We loved how close it is to the many Christmas markets, old bridge, Philosophers' Walk, and old castle. Taking bus 32 from the train station drops you right at the hotel! We would stay here again. We stayed in December and it was plenty warm.
