"Great location. There was construction going on next to my room during my stay so during the day it was pretty noisy. The staff were not very welcoming or helpful but I’d still stay again for the location and price."

"We loved the central location of this property, along with the lovely gardens and pool at the end of the day. It was the perfect hotel while staying in this Colonial city. While the rooms weren't fancy, the property had so many cool areas to hang out in both indoors and outdoors it was a great trade off. Our room overlooked the garden/pool area and I can see where that would be a must to ask for instead of something facing out to the street or inner courtyard. The staff were helpful and we would definitely recommend the hotel to friends."

"I traveled with my partner for a quick 3 night trip to Oaxaca city. Lar Syrah was an excellent place to stay. Very clean, quiet, modern, and close enough to walk to all Centro sites. I did not get my check in code which made check in a bit rough, but housekeeping staff was on site and went well out of their way to help. Oaxaca is a city worth visiting more than once, and I would absolutely stay here again. "
