The character of this 148 year old B&B is awesome. Kym, the innkeeper, was fabulous...we had an awesome time hanging out on the porch relaxing and conversing. Breakfast was excellent. We don't back track often, but will definitely go back to visit.

Desk Clerk was super nice! Pool and Hot Tub area were very clean. The room was clean and comfy, water was hot with good pressure. AC worked well, and the outside seats for morning coffee were good. Parking was a plus since we could park in front of the door. Would recommend and visit again.

The property is family run of modest accommodations. There is a kitchenette with a full set of dishes, cookware, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, stove top and refrigerator. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and well maintained. It is located a few miles from town and the construction. Even though it is on the main road, it was relatively quiet. Convenient location.

We went to the ashwood on a whim and were nervous after reading some of the negative reviews. We were very, very pleased with the stay and the wonderful staff. We arrived later than expected {after the front desk closed} and the Inn keeper was willing to put our key somewhere for us to get after hours and we could check in the following morning.

Neat, clean and modern room and bath. Bring your own hairdryer.

Staff were very friendly, very clean and you could go hiking out your front door.

We chose a king room with water view and balcony, we we put in the Gledhill building, which has clearly been renovated. Our room was huge, bed and bedding very comfy, played cards on our balcony and walked to and from the dining room both nights. Enjoyed daily hot tubs, pool dip, sauna and sitting out on pool deck space to watch the river in our spa robes. Very charming and quiet, peaceful and private. Would return in a heartbeat

What a cozy respite for a weary traveler! Angus welcomed me and showed me my room and the amenities. The great room with the wood stove and coffee/tear bar was a fantastic place to relax. The room was clean with everything I needed. The location is off the highway and very quiet but still close to the port.

Awesome place to stay, well kept and clean. Friendly staff and great location, close to all major attraction. We'll definitely stay here again.

Mary and John could not be nicer, friendlier, and accommodating hosts. They went over and above what is expected from a host of a bed and breakfast. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, roomy and had a beautiful newly remodeled private bath. The breakfasts were delicious and presented in a cute country basket that you could either take and enjoy on the backyard deck overlooking the beautiful garden or take across the street and enjoy in the park. The whole house is decorated...

This was such a quaint hotel. The age, proximity to restaurants, museums was wonderful. We loved staying here. Plan to go back again next year.
