Hotels in Ballyroan

We asked for a cart to bring in our tons of luggage expecting to go out to the car with it to unload. Not only did they bring us a cart but they came out to the car and helped us with all of the luggage. When we checked in, our rooms were very warm. We thought we had adjusted the air conditioning in both rooms before dinner but when we came back, one room was still hot. Beautiful old house with large bedroom. Very comfortable bed (one of the best out of 14 hotels) which was much needed due to the jet lag. Wonderful staff and walkable village shops and pubs

Nice hotel and spacious rooms. Unfortunately no mini fridge or microwave however the staff microwaved for us.

Great place to stay!

Simply fantastic. The staff and accomodations were excellent, and we so appreciated receiving a very kind complimentary room upgrade to celebrate our anniversary. The history of the castle and surrounding land is fascinating and steeped in lore, and we enjoyed learning more about this this very special part of the heart of Ireland.

Quite, clean, swimming pool sauna steam was fantastic. Employees were friendly and helpful.

There was no food service at the pub. The beer was good, pub had friendly atmosphere. On site parking was a bit misleading. There was a public car park down the street, seemed safe, but you had to pay

This hotel was great. Location is convenient and the property is well maintained with parking at a deck next door for convenience.

The Heritage is by all rights a 5 star, not a 4 star hotel. The rooms, property, and staff are all top notch! The only issues I encountered are beyond the control of the Heritage -- There are not enough taxis (I travelled to/from The Heritage by train) and if you are planning to use one, for instance, to make rail connections, plan well ahead and reserve a taxi if possible. The other thing that would be nice is if there were more dining options nearby -- But again, this is beyond the control...

We had a two day wonderful visit! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The food was outstanding! The drinks were excellent! The service and room conditions…... Everything was impeccable! Had a wonderful visit to the spa. It was great! This is a must visit on your travel list!

The Hatch, which is part of this business and across the parking lot, is lovely and has a delicious breakfast offering. The rooms are clean and new. Mild disturbances with doors slamming shut, but overall a very affordable and nice stay.

The Lodges are perfect for a family. We were a party of 5 and we got a 3-bedroom lodge facing the golf course. Fully-appointed kitchen, washing machine, and common room with large dining table. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel staff were fabulous as was the food at the clubhouse restaurant. The views of the castle whilst we ate were stunning.

The food they had was excellent. They need to increase the menu options

Our family of four stayed one night at Newpark Hotel. I most appreciated the hotel check-in staff. I could tell something was wrong with our reservation as he asked twice for our name and then if our reservation could be under a different name. Then he took our confirmation page and excused himself for a couple minutes in the back room. He then came out, apologized for the delay, and gave us our room information as well as gift bags for the children. He never once made it seem like it was...
