"The rooms were clean and quiet. Great location. We stayed after an Ironstone Amphitheater concert. They had shuttle service to/from for a fee. We drove ourselves and it was so convenient and nice to stay locally."

"Wonderful building. The room was better than expected. The balcony was lovely. There is a terrific dining room and a library with a fireplace in the winter. Lots of cool books to browse through. We had a delicious breakfast on the porch the wondered around the gardens. Great place for weddings and other gatherings. The town of Murphy's was a delight. All the action is just a few doors down."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large with a spa tub fabulous! The breakfast had many choices which were very good. It is close to Murphy, Sonora, James Town and Columbia which all have shopping and dinner choices. We came for a concert in Murphy at The Ironstone Winery which is a must see!"

"Small redone 'mom & pop" motel next to a larger historic hotel. They co-share the check-in and breakfast. Breakfast is typical continental, no real protein but they do have the waffle maker, and hard boiled eggs. Good for the price to stay one quick nite. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. "

"I understand that this motel was recently renovated, which we appreciated! Front desk staff were super friendly. The whole process was seamless. Free breakfast included milk, coffee, cereal, bread and condiments. We usually stay in an Airbnb for skiing, but since the power was out at many establishments in the Pinecrest area, we chose this motel and would come back if we don’t happen to have an Airbnb lined up! Sonora is a convenient location to the snow that’s not actually in the snow. "

"This was a definite Experience!!! The Inn was beautifully curated in furnishings of the 1920’s. It felt like stepping back in time. Breakfast was incredible. The host not only provided a perfectly presented gourmet breakfast but also gave an interesting history of the Inn. The property is far enough up the hill to be away from the noise of the Main Street but close enough to all of the eclectic little shops and dining options. This will most definitely be a stay we will repeat and recommend...
