"Excellent place to visit Edgartown with beautiful hotel with great views from the porch all the way to the veranda. Short walks to restaurants, shops including the Black Dog, the ocean and Chappaquidic ferry. Easy to walk to from the bus stop from Vineyardhaven. Breakfast was wonderful, and changed daily. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Only downside is stairs only above the 2nd floor on at least one side of the building. Best place to stay in Edgartown. We will be happy to return...

"We had a very nice stay at Faraway and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The common areas were well maintained and clean. Staff was all lovely. Parking can be tricky in Edgartown so take a cab if you can but they do provide overflow lots."
