They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the Bar Harbor area for restaurants and sightseeing recommendations. Although a short stay for us, we highly recommend staying here if you're going to Bar Harbor and the Acadia National Park!"

"Our (my husband and I) stay at the Sand Bar Cottage Inn was truly awesome. The property itself was so charming. Our room was in a separate building and was spacious and comfortable. "Stayed here for two nights while visiting Acadia National Park, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-maintained. The daily breakfast is one of the best we’ve had in our travels. The location is hard to beat, right next to the water with proximity to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia. Finally, all the staff are extremely kind and friendly. We will be staying here again in the future!"

"Fabulous location - could walk everywhere, was quiet, and quick trip to Acadia. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom clean. No breakfast but plentiful good quality snacks, water, coffee, fruit and options to have a breakfast in room or take on the road for later. Excellent price to value ratio - fully recommend."
