"The hotel is clean and decor is minimal, but comfortable.The hotel restauant is great, very good food and drinks! Staff is very friendly and accomodating. The views of the lake from our room and deck (room 2B) and dining area are fabulous! Beautiful lake!.The only down side is this hotel is very remote and the roads that lead to it are very rough - all dirt and very far from the main road. Some Ubers did not want to drive to the hotel. However, the hotel did provide transportation for a fee."

"I’ve never had such an amazing bed!!! Super comfortable. Beautiful grounds, best breakfast view ever. Convenient place to take a hike from here or go exploring. We hope to go back!! "

"Lovely place to stay, for the view of the volcanos. Steam spa dome highly recommend, $10pp, comes with clay mask, just careful! Don’t get it in your eyes, it’s like rocks in your eyes! Great exfoliating your skin! There was a trail of ants in the bathroom socket, so don’t leave food out! Great walking location to town. Breakfast every morning with a view! Did I mention the view?! Pool is tiny, never saw anyone using it. Overall, beautiful!"

"Clean rooms, beautiful and well kept property. Bistro food was decent, La Pampa restaurant was great. Staff was very friendly but not always around. Super peaceful setting with gorgeous views. Lighting in the room was harsh, low, and weird but didn’t visit to hang out in the room. Would definitely return and would recommend. "

"This place is charming to look at….not great for sleeping. The arrangement here is bizarre. As a guest you have to walk through the front shop to get out which means that over night you are locked in. Not a fan of not being able to come and go. Practical things like WiFi did not work the lamp in our room did not work (we traded out the bulb) and the bathroom had not been cleaned. The noise during sleeping hours was the worst we experienced the entire trip. As the hostel is right on the main road there is loud traffic big trucks and loud motorcycles. Dogs barked through the night setting each other off with each round. Heidi who runs the place is lovely but she speaks very quickly and it’s kinda hard to communicate."
