Once we decided to stay outside of Split in the neighbouring town of Trogir, Brown Beach Hotel was an easy decision. Because of its location on Marjan Hill, it can be a little difficult to find without GPS. We left our car parked and walked up and down to the Riva. If you aren't in reasonably good shape, you might find this to be a problem. But, once you get there, you will find a marvelous hotel.
