A fantastic getaway. A trip down to Izu peninsula is a common adventure for most in the Tokyo area, however the choice between towns isn’t always clear. This property takes away any concern. You can spend the entire trip in the luxury of the hotel or venture out to see the small city of Ito. A rich history of European visitors and access to the mountains within 5 minutes drive. The hotel had a charming, nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere, featuring a lavish buffet dinner and comfortable, relaxing rooms. Our room included both a Western-style bedroom with beds and a traditional Japanese-style room with futons, so we could choose whichever was more comfortable.
