"The spa was great and so were the ladies at the front desk!! The restaurant recommendations, printing my India visa, everything. This hotel is great and the location is great too. "
"Staffs’ service were great and the hotel was really beautiful! They even had a sauna in the bathroom which I thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend this hotel! :-)"
"Very nice and cosy hotel, in Kazakh style. Rooms are beautifully decorated, and the restaurant is really nice with music too. Breakfast was meny-style. Amenities in room were also enough and plenty, minibar in room and safe etc. Especially I liked the hair-drier!!! The hotel is very modern, the service staff are really nice and extraordinarily helpful at all times.
The only thing would be that hotel has no elevator, but it’s ok as staff will assist with luggage to your room. The area and...
"Loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff especially Kudrat (not sure of the spelling) at the reception. Food at the restaurant was also very tasty although a bit pricey."

Incredible breakfast buffet, kind and welcoming staff, clean room and bathroom.
We enjoyed our two week stay immensely and being able to walk to many a place.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel located in a leafy area of Almaty. It's clean, new and decorated in a bright, modern style. The breakfast buffet is great, and the staff are all friendly. I'd definitely stay here again.
This used to be one of the best hotels in the city and the reception area is quite impressive, but the room however was a bit tired. Old furniture and stains in the wall are common, but I got an excellent rate on hotels.com so I can't complaint. The location and the view from my window were great. Internet was very good. Some staff speak English and I loved the coffee place in the lobby, the food there was particular good, as was the excellent breakfast. Late check out was restrict; although the...
It's pretty hotel in city center of Almaty. It's located near underground station "Almaty". A lot of bars and restaurants are near hotel.
For extra money (5000tg) you can order very good breakfast.
I chose this hotel based on other reviewers' comments. The only thing that puzzled me about the comments were those about the "weird" bathroom setup. I found it quite neat! The room was spacious and immaculately kept. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff spoke English and were quite helpful. There were many English-language television stations (not that I watched that much TV, but I did check.) I did not try the restaurant, so I can't comment on that. I found two restaurants with...
I stayed at this hotel a couple of times. Breakfast is amazing. The staff is super friendly and trying to meet your needs. The location is pretty central. The room was very clean. I will definitely stay there again.
I needed a hotel for 16 hours as I waited for a second flight from the airport. I know the Tien Shan from meetings we had held there when I lived in Almaty but I had never stayed there. The staff were extremely nice (and speak English). The hotel is a renovated one and I suspect at one time was Soviet-era with broad hallways and a nice lobby. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and, it being January, warm. The hotel is in the midst of "downtown" Almaty with restaurants, groceries and...
