"If you'd like a different experience from the usual hotel, Under Canvas is a great option. It's an opportunity to maximize an outdoor experience while not having to sleep on the ground. You can't be an idle participant. You have to keep your stove stoked in cooler conditions. You're "roughing it" just a little bit. The location in North Yellowstone was fantastic - on the Yellowstone River (fishing friendly) - and the drive to either the north gate at Yellowstone Park or Livingston was easy. The staff is fantastic. Meeting fellow campers is a treat. A great experience."
