"Was hard to get a hold of anyone when we wanted our room cleaned and more towels. So we just piled all the dirty towels in a corner. Trash never got emptied including outside in hallway. Multiple trash bags stacked up around trash cans in hallway. Handle in our bathtub was broke so could only fill by spray nozzle. Food was ok and music. But food nor music was available as time listed. Chef was always chewing someone's ass in hallway on 2nd floor near pop machine."

"This hotel is going through renovation. It’s in a great location perfect walking condition outside. It looks very nice. My room was terrible. I cannot recommend this hotel at this time. There were fruit flies coming out of the drains in the tub There was mold around the tub. It was dirty. the floors were dirty thick dust even on the Kleenex box. The curtains were inside outward, broken, and falling off the rods. Never washed There were cobwebs on the ceilings, but I had a great view. I was booked for three nights. Checked in on Friday in the room, I started investigating all the sheets as always due there were stains on the pillows with something on two of the pillow cases that looked caked on I wiped down the sink area for cleanliness for myself. I did not sleep at all Friday night The floors in the bathroom area looked as if they have never been cleaned ever. Saturday morning I took pictures and showed the manager. They did not have another room to put me in and promised a refund. I booked through Expedia contacted Expedia to begin that process looked for Another hotel and found one. Village inn and pub highly recommend. Now I am battling with Expedia I was only given a portion of my payment back just what the hotel received from Expedia. Expedia is giving me the run around . I had to come out of my pocket for an extra hotel without a refund in full for the two nights I didn’t stay. I have never had this issue and hope no one else does "

"This hotel was a disappointment. This is the second time we've stayed in a Microtel and we've been disappointed both times. This hotel was old and in need of updates and a DEEP cleaning. The bathroom was completely disgusting - hair in the sink, water spots on the faucet and mirror, splatters on the walls, mold in the tub and on the shower curtain. We didn't even attempt to take a shower because it looked very dirty in there. The bed was okay and the temp of the room was fine, but it was VERY loud. The description said there were soundproof walls, but that was FAR from the truth. We could hear the conversation from the room next door, doors slamming down the hall all night, a dog barking across the hall. We were on a road trip, so we arrived around 10 pm and tried to get some sleep before hitting the road again. We were awake at 5 am, due to the people next door talking and turning on the shower, so we got up and left at that point. We will not be staying at a Microtel again. There are plenty of hotels for $10-15 more per night that are SIGNIFICANTLY cleaner, quieter and more comfortable."
