"We arrived after hours, our host was very accommodating with a key in a lockbox. The houseboat was well chilled with the air conditioner. Everything was clean and inviting. The outdoor porch is screened keeping all bugs away. We had Everything we needed to prepare our meals. The rooms were very comfortable. There are wagons to use to bring luggage and other supplies to your houseboat. My only suggestion would be to oil or wd40 the wheels please? We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family!"

"The primary bedroom was very small but with the rooftop deck and the front porch it really wasn't an issue. The view of the sunset was incredible. The folks working at the "general store/check-in" were really nice. I love the rule of quiet after 10:00pm. We went the first week of June and it was really peaceful. We are booking for the same week next year!!!"

"The room was clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The Motel claims that it has bicycles, scooter, and other recreational activities available. However, the bicycles are rusted and falling apart as they are kept outside in a saltwater environment. The motel claims that they offer breakfast, however, while they do offer coffee, the breakfast consists of a couple bagels bought from the store, bananas, apples, generic Walmart brand Nutri-Grain bars, and donuts. It is not actually a breakfast, more like store-bought items. They will tell you that the general store, next-door, offers egg and cheese sandwiches. However, these egg and cheese sandwiches are premade, wrapped in foil, have been sitting out and will need to be reheated. The seafood restaurant across the street has gone out of business so if you want dinner, you will have to contact some type of delivery service or drive 20 minutes to the nearest town. While the area is peaceful, quiet and quaint be prepared that there is no cell phone service and you will have to use the Wi-Fi offered by the motel, which is wonderful. Overall, for us, it was a good day."
