The hotel is located close to some of the major attractions...the archeological museum and the Greek theater are not far away. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. There is an excellent cable service that includes CNN and the BBC. The breakfasts are superb. The management is friendly and attentive. The hotel has a certain classic charm. I have stayed here many times and am happy to recommend this hotel.

We were sorry not to have more time here. . It has 2 beautiful pools and the room was large and had a high wooden ceiling which was very attractive. We had a good dinner in the restaurant. I don't know why they picked the location but it's close to Syracuse yet you're in the countryside.
When we arrived we needed to change the room and they were very helpful with 2 options. We got the one facing the ocean. Breakfast was very good. I had to wash my car and one of the helpers at the reception drove with her motorcycle in front of me until we got the place. We used the gym and was very good. This is a small boutique hotel, located about 15 min walk from the island of Ortigia. The walk is easy, safe, and interesting. It is down one of the main streets. The same walking distance is toward archeological park. I liked the location of this hotel - it was right in the middle, next to a lovely park and had a free street parking.

La Casa di Melo was our first stay at an agriturismo and without a doubt, one of the highlights on a 10 day Sicilian vacation. The fixed price dinner was the best we had and the easy going service was extremely pleasing and relaxing. Breakfast was equally outstanding with all types of homemade, fresh Sicilian goodiesI I wish we had been able to spend more time and use the pool and walk the orchards.

We stayed here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. We didn’t have time to use the spa but we did go to the outdoor pool for a bit. The pool was amazing and the outdoor bar was a nice touch. The breakfast was very good and the room overlooked the race track so you can watch the horses warm up in the morning. It was an overall excellent hotel for the price.

I can't say enough great things about this hotel. It's in a great location, easy to get to, helpful staff, and has an amazing view. The parking wasn't really an issue either.
