The hotel itself is nice, staff are friendly, pool area is nice, food Ok ( bit fancy for our tastes in the restaurant) but good quality. But the area is a 20- 30 min walk to the centre or Ortigia where you will find restaurants - most of the area you walk through isn’t particularly attractive. The archaeological park is very near ( walkable) and enjoyable to do. So although I have no faults with the hotel - the location wasn’t the best choice for us

The room is a decent size, clean and has a powerful shower. The breakfast had a good range of options but the 'hot' food was cold. Would have been good to have some powdered or long-life milk provided in the room for tea, instead of needing to request some from the bar.

Syracusa Hotel Review

The hotel is nice but is on the norther outskirts of the town in a mainly residential area. I was looking forward to using the gym and sauna but the gym was poorly stocked and the sauna could only be used as part of a spa package minimum of €40 per time so that was a let down and not in the description. Breakfast was very good with a range of choices and the 6th floor pool was nice to have for a late afternoon chill out after touring in the day.
