"The hotel was a very pleasant surprise !!! I found this last minute when the place I wanted to stay was sold out. This will be my go to next time I am in the area !! The staff is incredible and make it the place it is. I was there for 3 nights. My room was spotless. "

"Our room was fine and the bed was comfortable. Since it's a historic inn, we knew not to expect modern amenities such as mini-fridge or coffee pot. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The closet was huge which would be more useful for stays longer than our single night. Breakfast in the Beauclaire restaurant was tasty. We plan to return to Mt. Dora and will stay at the Lakeside Inn again."
