"We have stayed here before. We love the area of Cuero. Have relatives near by in Yoakum. We like all the extra eateries in Cuero. Good food and friendly folks."

"We enjoyed our two night stay. Breakfast was really good. The only downside was I couldn’t figure out the TV I spoke to the inn keeper and she said WiFi password had changed and she needed to get it updated. Also, the refrigerator was making a super weird sound the last night but it wasn’t a really big deal. We would definitely stay again. The grounds and decor are really cool. Be sure you take the time to explore and really check out everything."

"Paid 40 per night. I woke up with bites all around my ankles and legs. I have stayed in many motels for the past 22 years due to work. This has never happened to me. Ill pay the extra 15 per night from now on. And i will not return here."

"Room was clean. You didn’t not get your room cleaned daily which was unfortunate. Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful "

"Overall, and especially for the town, this is a great place to stay! The staff was very friendly, attentive to requests and restocking amenities, etc. The hotel has been remodeled and is very nice. I love the high ceilings, fans and overhead lights in rooms, and style. Some of the improvements may have been done improperly (i.e. a handrail fell out of the wall when used and was only attached in sheetrock with a screw) but nothing that effected us greatly. I did miss the more modern amenities of an ice machine, coffee machine in rooms, etc (there was a home model ice maker & Keurig for the full floor) but for a weekend stay, it was fine. "

"Breakfast is kind of a joke. They should do a little more for their patrons adding fruit would be a suggestion or yogurt."

"The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and friendly, but the room was not great. It had a very musty smell, stains on the carpet, dusty lamps and clock and there was quite a bit of dust and debris behind the night stand. The smoke detector was also missing and the wires were hanging out. Breakfast was very average and I had to find napkins for us."

"The parking is fine. There is no staff on site. The air conditioning worked great. I do have to say, though, there is a smell something like “mothballs?” that followed me home in my clothes. Overall, it was fine. I would stay there again. "
