The Shiner Country Inn was a small quiet place. Nothing special. This is a motel that has a code to get in the door, much like a Vrbo. There is no staff present. The room was very clean and well stocked with toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. It is an older place but it is what it is.

The room was super cute and the a/c is freezing cold! Everything you need is there, the only thing was the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers did not work. But the town is so quiet and the Brewery was great! We definitely will be back!!

It is a cute unique place to stay. The rooms are all different. The Bathrooms need outlets. the beds are comfy and the AC is cold which is nice. The Pillows are great too.

We had a good time. The room was clean and quaint. Outside BBQ pit with picnic tables are nice. Covered parking a plus. Outstanding service.

Our stay was good. We stayed in room number four. There was a little bit of paint peeling around the door frame of the shower. Other than that, the paint was great. It smelt clean when we went in, however, whenever I took off my shoes, I could feel dust on my feet and that drives me crazy and why I rated the cleanliness as a three. It was easy to check in. And it was very quiet people the first night we were the only people on the property. It was a nice stay.

First off the town is so quiet and clean this particular hotel has been there for many many many years and I don’t know how long the current owners have had it but they have well-maintained it it’s such a quiet peaceful place

If you’re at the Shiner brewery for the afternoon and need a place to crash for the night, this place is a must. Clean. Easy check in. Close to the brewery

Great location and we loved the covered parking. This is an older place and neat and clean but not updated. We were comfortable but the minimal outlets and electrical cords all over made us a bit nervous.

Nice and cozy. A little outdated but for the price and a good location I would stay there again. I was worried about no staff on location but everything worked well. Door codes opened on time right after 3:00pm like we were told. Very quiet.

Nice clean comfortable room. Direct TV, unit 8 is at the end of the property if you want hot water better book an extra night that’s how long it takes to get there. Great shower once it does get hot.

It was just myself for the night when I got to the room. It was very quiet, cozy and comfortable. I slept like a baby and had no interruptions. They had a few people there but no issues for the state that I was there. I will return another time. Thank you very much.

2/10 Poor

The only place in Shiner to stay. It's conveniently located a short distance from the Shiner Brewery and downtown area. If your party has a designated driver, I'd recommend finding another stay in a neighboring town, but everyone in my party was partaking on our Shiner Brewery tour and the other reviews didn't look that bad so we thought we'd give it a try. There is no front desk. They'll email you a door code prior to your arrival date/time similar to renting a property on Vrbo. I reserved a Deluxe Room w/ King bed. The property contacted me prior to my arrival and said there was a maintenance issue with my room and needed to reassign me to another. On the surface, I wouldn't have a problem with this thinking they would move me to another comparable room. However upon entering the room, it was much smaller and did not have a King bed. The shower is super tiny. I wish I had taken a picture. I am not exaggerating, there is literally not enough space to easily bend over to wash the lower regions of your body unless you open the shower door. The bed was old and had a noticeable divot in the center, it felt like I was rolling to the middle of the bed all night. It's an old building, it may have been clean but it's overshadowed by the age and disrepair. Cuts in the vinyl flooring, dingy paint on the walls. The worst part about it is, they offered no compensation for giving me a smaller room with a smaller bed. I had to call hotels.com to get a refund of room price difference.

Convenient location to the brewery, quiet ,very clean room. Air conditioning was great. We arrived after dark, and the facility was a little darker than I thought it could . The carport could use a sensor light to make it a little safer. The experience was great.

We had no hot water in the sink or the shower. We were unable to shower during our stay. The mattress was so worn out both people roll to the middle where there is a huge dip.
