"We were welcomed by a lady on arrival and taken to our room which was clean and cosy. There was a small area at bottom of stairs with continental breakfast relplenished every morning . All in all no complaints however if you had a problem with stairs then the outside metal stairs would be daunting and inside stairs were quite steep we certainly use again as parking was adequate and pub quaint "

"Like the security for the rooms, the facilities and being able to put an evening meal together rather than paying to eat out. Also as i currently work in Newark it's very handy for that. Not to be put off but it's also very handy for shopping, eating and drinking also both the train stations ate within walking distance with Castle Station closer than Northgate. No doubt i'll be sraying again soon."

"The staff here are lovely, I had a warm welcome from Zorro the dog. Rahol and the housekeeping ladies Nat and Hayley couldnt do enough to make my stay the best. The little issues that I encountered were resolved efficiantly and with genuine care by those 3 . Sunday roast was the best Ive had in a long time, I just wish I had more time here to sample more of the menu. I thought that the visitor's guide books in the bedrooms were a nice touch. "Lovely hotel surrounded by two golf courses. All staff were lovely and helpful. Room was great with a comfortable bed. The shower was fantastic. Breakfast was great, cooked items along with cereal, toast, fruit and pastries. I would definately return to this hotel."

"Beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. Warm friendly welcome and next time I am in the area will be my first option. Great pub 5mins to the North for dinner, and Farm shop 5mins to the South for breakfast. Just minutes away from the Snodome making it a perfect 2 day trip! "

"Bestwood Lodge is a very old building in need of investment but for me that’s part of its charm. On the run up to my function I felt there was a bit of casualness around arraignments however on the night everything was spot on the staff were brilliant from the manager down the buffet food was spot on the venue DJ (Kes) was absolutely brilliant my accomadation was spot on. All in all my experience was very good and I would definitely use Bestwood Lodge again. "
