"Great place, love the location! The food was good, and the snorkeling on the beach at the resort was excellent this time, I'm sure it is dependant on weather conditions and events. Close to other snorkeling locations, and lots of excursions available. We still love the beach, they have done a great job trying to keep up with the beach erosion (which is not their fault!!)."

"We visited Blue Angel for a week. The dive shop is located on property. You walk to the end of the dock to catch the boat each morning. Shore diving is included The restaurant is excellent. Friendly staff who make it a point to learn your names & welcome you each time you visit. We ate the majority of our meals at the resort because of the excellent food and laid-back atmosphere. We truly felt like VIPs! (Special shout out to Diego, Armando, & Jared) We enjoyed a made to order breakfast...

"Clean Room, but there was a bad smell , that would come and go The staff was excellent, very friendly DJ Angel was great , and bar server Miguel was on point too. Food was pretty good and overall a great value for the cost. We would recommend. Great snorkeling from our beach too"

"Best thing about the resort is the staff. They are friendly and courteous. Loved having the excursions included. Room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Food experience was excellent. It is nice to have access to the adjacent resort as most restaurants are on that side, you access the beach by the other property, and the pool is bigger there. It would be nice if Explorean was adults-only. Still an enjoyable vacation overall."

"Love the Dive shop next to Pool. The Hotel is focused on the local mexican community and thats very special for the locals.Speaki g Spanish at this Hotel is a plus. Also most activities are geared towards the Mexican community so be ready to fully immerse yourself with the locals and enjoy.Great Ocean view and lovely people. If you like to stay up late this hotel is for you and very kid friendly. "

Although the owner promised that we will be reimbursed for the cost, no actual reimbursement was given. There were water leakage in multiple spot which the owner failed to provide any solutions on.
