"The room was clean and most things were fine (hot water not consistent and wrong wifi password given in the room though) and Ana was nice, but overall our check-in was difficult. The neighborhood seemed unsafe to arrive to at night and no one was there to let us in when we arrived (we only got in thanks to another traveler). Apparently Ana was supposed to come meet us at the time of our arrival, but we were never asked beforehand for that information and didn't know there would be no reception....

"This apartment was wonderful! It had many beds, all comfortable and it was equipped with everything we needed. The location is excellent with Puerto Cancun just being across the street. The apartment has a wrap around patio with spectacular views to Isla Mujeres and the harbor. The only negative I would say is that the apartment has some rules we weren't aware of. "This was a cute space, I like that there were streaming services available like Netflix, Disney+, on the TV versus just the regular local Spanish channels, where foreigners like me can enjoy a nice program in my language if I’m just relaxing in the room. "For a no frills stay, the Adhara Express is the way to go. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast buffet was more than adequate. It’s proximity to Parque de la Palapas, and Mercados 23 and 28 made the Adhara Express the perfect location.
