"I'm pretty picky about hotel rooms and this place is squeaky clean. On top of that, theit coffee and breakfast bag they give you was perfect for my travels. This motel has recently done major renovations which includes top of the line Fixtures like the shower and toilet. "

"I trekked up to the Shasta area to chase waterfalls. I decided to stay at this property because it seemed fairly centralized to the places I would be visiting. Check-In: The young man who checked me in was professional, well dressed, and very knowledgeable about the weather & the area. He was patient in answering my questions & very informative on the amenities the property offered. Room: I stayed in the Carmen Suite #211. It was a 1 bedroom suite with a jetted tub. It was right next to the elevator on the second floor. I was surprised at how large the suite was. Overall it was clean, but had a weird smell. I liked the full size refrigerator, microwave, and sink. The couch was a sleeper. The sleeper part of the couch was sunken in. The chaise portion was firm. There were also some white stains on the chaise. There were some stains on the curtains. They probably just needed to be dry cleaned. There wasn't a fire alarm in the bedroom. I notified the front desk when I checked out. If you use the tub, you have to maximize water pressure, otherwise the water will seep onto the floor behind the tub. The tub jets worked great. The tub was a great touch. It elevated the whole suite touch. The ceiling tile left of the tub is hanging down & should be replaced. Overall great stay with minor issues that should be addressed."

"Never been to the area before, got a second room at the last minute - staff was great, chalet cabins were glorious! Beds were SUPER comfortable, hated to leave."

"Good place to stay for a night and two. Room heater makes a lot of noise and bin inside the room would have been good. Large TV is an added bonus"

"We went to snowmobile and the snow didn’t cooperate but we settled in to our sweet thoughtfully detailed room. We were told it was the smallest of the rooms but as a couple we enjoyed it and the Mountain View’s. We took advantage of the eateries downstairs loving the Butcher Block grill gotta try the steak sandwiches!! So good. Loved exploring the area and coming back to the common areas and a toasty fire. The history of this place is so cool and got to have a lovely conversation with the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. Would love to visit again and catch some snow next time. Thank you! "
