"The first room I was in the shower didn’t drain and flooded the bathroom. The rooms have been attempted to have been updated, but the building itself felt very out dated. The room I got moved to hadn’t been cleaned all the way, the trash cans were full and dirty linens on the counter still. The 3rd room was decent but there had been no spider mitigation of the balcony’s or pool area. The coworker I traveled with was also given an uncleaned room on his check-in and had other issues during the stay. "

"The first day the housekeeping did not clean the room and then she did not put the floor mat in the bathroom ,I was about to fall because there was no floor mat."

"Front desk was very helpful. Cleaning staff could put a bit more effort into the floors. The bathroom tile was visibly dirty, the hotel room floor left my socks filthy, and the shower floor felt slick. The free laundry feature was VERY useful, although I found the appliances a little outdated--they worked! Staff could also work on cleaning the appliances as well, some of the machines smelled or had visible remnants of past visitors dirt and grime on the glass. There is no street parking and garage parking is almost 20/night but that is pretty standard."

"I travel to Texas several times a year. Most of the time I stay at this hotel. NEVER, in any hotel that I've stayed in have I had a room that was surrounded by rooms that were being renovated or been having construction going on. Didn't see any other guests on my floor. Heard lots of banging. Saw lots of carts with tools and paint buckets & the such in the halls. I appreciate the fact that this location is getting a face lift. It needs it. However this should not be interferring with my stay. The pool still needs some major attention. There should be hand rails to aid in being in and out of the hot tub too. I do believe I will be exploring one of the many other hotel options in this area on my next trip."

"I picked this hotel because it was cost-effective, but also had great reviews, and I cannot figure out where those great reviews came from. The fixtures in the rooms are very old… The shower grates are gross, there was rust on the bathroom door frame, and tiny fruit flies in the room. The furniture looks like the same furniture you find in a state run nursing home facility. If I was staying more than a single night. I would’ve switched hotels."
