This was our first time coming to Santa Ynez and I was really impressed with this beautiful town and meeting so many friendly and welcoming down to earth people- Such a beautiful place with breathtaking scenery-

Santa Ynez is a really cute wine town. Actually you could walk there from the casino, but we didn't so I can't say how many minutes. Then 5 or so minutes (by car) is Los Olivos. A larger version of Santa Ynez and more upscale but fun.

Maybe put signs on the street where the public restrooms are located, with arrows to guide the tourists. Some of the restaurants and the Mission had restricted restrooms for customers only. This is not good as restrooms are a general necessity.

FYI that most stores close early, 5 pm-ish. Not a lot of bars in town.
"Nice second floor room with balcony. Front desk staff was professional and friendly. We were only there one night and didn’t use the pool, but enjoyed our view of it and saw people enjoying it. The breakfast was as described. Great location.
My only complaint were the various signs warning guests for example- leave by 11 or you will be charged, take only one danish per person. I agree good manners dictate leave on time and take one, but feel the signs cheapen the hotel and take away from the welcoming feeling. Is it really that much of an issue? In my opinion people who would take extras are probably ignoring the sign anyway.
