If you like quiet time surrounded by flowers and greenery, then make a stop at Gateway Trailer Park in the heart of La Verkin. Want to stretch your legs some more? Head to Confluence Park and Stout Park, both nearby.
Soak in the stunning red rock vistas while hiking the nearby trails of Zion National Park. Grab a bite at the local diner before heading to Kolob Reservoir for fishing and boating adventures.
La Verkin is a bedroom/farming community. It's far enough from Zion National Park for hotel prices to drop. The area is very safe. Restaurants: Red Fort is very good. In Hurricane (her-uh-cun) try Main St Cafe, Pizza Wagon & Peruvian Flavors.

It's the gateway to Zion National Park and a easy drive to many other parks as well.

The quaint town with nice restaurants that aren't national chains. We worked there for very long but the town seemed welcoming.

Everything closes early. By 8 pm its difficult to find restaurants open so be aware for timing dinner.

"This was a wonderful hotel! The room we stated in was clean, spacious. They have an outdoor pool with a jacuzzi! Breakfast is from 6:30am to 9:30 or so. There is also a coffee/Tea station and a nice sitting area! The staff was friendly and quite helpful. This hotel is about a 20-30 minute drive from Zion National Park! There are other wonderful parks and activities that are within drivable distance! Hurricane City is close by and offers great places to eat, rentals and more! I highly recommend this hotel!! 😁🙂"
