Learn more about Chatham
Elbow your way past the crowds at Chatham Lighthouse, where seals bask on sandbars with the nonchalance of locals who've found the perfect spot. The historic fishing pier showcases the day's catch being unloaded while gulls provide commentary. Cape Cod beaches stretch in both directions, with Lighthouse Beach and Ridgevale offering different flavors of coastal perfection. Village shops in centuries-old buildings sell maritime treasures that avoid being tacky. Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge provides sanctuary for birds and solitude-seekers alike. Summer swells the population from 6,000 to 25,000, yet this place maintains its salty character. Come autumn, you'll have those beaches almost to yourself – just you and the seals eyeing each other curiously.

Cape Sands Inn
"This was a great property for the night. One downside was the lack of microwave. The room came with a little fridge but no microwave which would have been nice. The room itself was clean and easily accessible!"
Holiday Hill Inn & Suites
"This was a really comfortable place to stay and really centrally located to all the things I wanted to do. Everything was well maintained and the employees were so helpful and incredibly friendly. I would definitely stay here again."
Lighthouse Inn
"I love my stay at this location. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be visiting again. Clean room, lovely staff, the beach was nice and peaceful."
All Seasons Resort, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
"When we arrived, plenty of parking available. Check in was smooth, front desk staff was great and hospitable. Room was clean and neat with air conditioning. Went to the outdoor pool which had ambient set up, beautiful flowers. Indoor pool was a hit for the kids while we adults tried out the hot tub. They provide pool towels but can bring your own. (No lifeguards though) Room turn-down service was great while we were out and about exploring the town and nearby West Dennis Beach and other beaches close by. We requested for extra bath towels and the attendant left us plenty, so grateful. Kids playground was good but could use some maintenance or even an upgrade especially the metal slide was rusty. Food: Continental breakfast is simple but there is a restaurant across the street if you looking at a big breakfast and other meals. Fast food places and pizzeria about 5min drive. I would come back here again, we surely enjoyed our stay here."
Sunbird Cape Cod Resort
"Everything was great!"
Queen Anne Inn
"The staff was very helpful for suggesting places to eat and visit"
The Mariner Resort Cape Cod by The Red Collection
"The front desk staff were nice and friendly. The beds were comfortable. The lobbies were nice. The pools could have been a bit cleaner, the mini golf needs some attention, and the breakfast is okay (coffee terrible). Overall, was a good stay and we’d go back. Definitely not a resort tho."
Freebird Motor Lodge by Reverie Boutique Collection
"Great vibe! Nicely decorated. Rooms and facilities were clean, Dirty Bird food truck was great, with good drinks and pizza. We didn't swim in the pool (s) but others did and said it was great. Several places to hang out around funky heaters at night, and several more shaded areas at the end of the builidng. Staff was all excellant, very friendly with great local knowldege. Freebird is a great location, very near several highly rated resturants. We drove to nearby Thatcher Beach to walk with coffee every morning (bought coffe at Hole In One, recommended by staff, good coffee & homemade doughnuts). Full range of ages staying there, fun but not crazy, funky peaceful vibe. Highly recommend!"
Chatham Wayside Inn
"Great location, close to the famous Squire and the restaurant (Wild Goose Tavern) on-site was terrific and made the experience a positive one. Elena makes an awesome martini, and Bobby was a friendly welcoming personality. Ben was awesome during dinner. Hotel staff should take lessons from the restaurants customer service training. Front Desk team is as cold as Elena’s martinis. Never a greet or smile unless we initiated. Not very welcoming. Room was fine. Bathroom not fine. Never stood in a tub that creaked before. Cheap bath fitter tub/shower, hospital room bathroom feel. Bed was comfy. Small pool which served its purpose for a quick refreshing dip. Wound consider a return but definitely wound explore other options as well."
