I always treat myself to Harpoon Henrys for my birthday lunch. However they were pretty busy on my stay so I walked over to Wind and Sea...recommend both for a wonderful meal. To have the sea lions playing in the harbor was a bonus.

Close to Laguna Beach and Strand Beach (walk down many flights of stairs to beach, but take a shuttle golf cart back to car park).

El Caminante Bar & Bungalows

"This is a great, swanky place to stay. Great views of the beach, especially on the 2nd floor. The decor is unique and intriguing.
Downsides: There was only one person on staff to check us in, but he was also the cook/bartender. It took a while for him to finish the food before we could get checked in.
Parking was okay, but they had a yoga class on the lawn that was open to the public. They took all of the parking spots, and we had to park on the street.
The placement of the bed was awkward. It was literally placed in the middle of the room, facing the great view out the window, but there were cords from the lamps going to the wall on one side, which became a bit of a trip hazard. (We unplugged the lamp so I could access the bathroom instead have having to walk around the entire bed.) Plus, the TV was on the side wall; not convenient for watching tv if that is an issue for you.
Overall, we would still go back! It is a great atmosphere and the food was wonderful. "
"Loved the staff! My wife had a broken ankle and they made sure to accommodate with a handicap accessible room! When we needed toiletries and towels they brought them up quickly! We did have a spider in our room and being 2 short women lol they send maintenance up to get rid of it for us lol the shower pressure was amazing! AC got ice cold and the room was quiet. We didnt hear the road next to us at all! We were there for a wedding and they were very nice and accommodating! Will be staying again!!! Wont share the room number but will request it again if available lol Amazing decks to just hang out on and the bar as well. Drinks were a little too pricey. But yes would stay again!"
"Very impressed with the room size, amenities, cleanliness, and location. It truly lived up to the reviews I read and I was very satisfied with the booking."
"The condo was very spacious & comfortable.
There was even a private, roofed patio in the back.
The best thing is that it was a short (5 minute) walk to the beach. The second best thing is that I was there for 2 nights & never moved my car. I also enjoyed the hot tub—& it’s long, open hours. The staff was friendly & helpful.
The only negative is that I was unable to hear the ocean from my room.
It was an incredible value."
