Apparently we visited during the low season so at least two restaurants we attempted to eat at were closed. Keep that in mind if you plan to visit during September. It's definitely an older crowd/demographic here. We came for a friend's 40 birthday.

Went in May and it was already very hot & humid - stay hydrated. Book any excursions (sunset sail, parasailing, snorkeling, etc.) early - fill up fast. There are many houses that you can stay at besides hotels but do your research and ask questions

One of my favorite places on Earth, I love this town and its history and significance to our country. Next time, I will go to the national park, but many other museums and historical places to see on the island. Fabulous weather and beautiful beach!

Key West is an iconic place to visit if you have never been there. There are tons of stuff to do that don't have anything to do with partying (though there's plenty of that if you want it). The Truman White, Hemingway House, Fort Zachary Taylor...

This was our first visit to Key West and we fell in love with it! People are so nice and it was a great experience everywhere we went. Walking was much more convenient than driving and most things we wanted to see/do were within walking distance.

Great dinner at the Red Shoe Bistro for a fancy option or something more casual like B.O.'s Fish Wagon or Hanks, the Butterfly conservatory was a treat, the trip to Dry Tortugas NP was a good adventure with nice snorkling and of course the sunsets.

Parking can be a challenge. In the businesses areas like Malory Square there is no free parking so be prepared. A very walkable town so bring comfortable shoes. The town is very photogenic so don't forget a camera or your phone.

KW is the best place on earth for those who love live music, amazing food, good people and color coated streets. I get down there every few months because it's a place that celebrates being unique and living life fully!
"We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The room is small, but the hotel has its perks - nice pool, free WiFi, and included breakfast. They provided towels for pool and beaches. However, there were some issues. The sink was draining very slowly and had some cracks. I reported it to the staff on first day of arrival, and they said someone would come to fix it, but unfortunately, no one showed up. Also, note that parking fees are automatically charged at $10 per day, so be sure to let the staff know if you won't be bringing a car. Despite the issues, my kids had a blast playing in the pool.

"Staff friendly and so accommodating! My wife somewhat particular about view from room; Phiwe and her colleague guided us to the perfect room overlooking pool and, a few feet beyond, the sandy beach. Lots of extras and you are able to walk over to sister property Casa Marina and hang out there too. Near Duval and all the stuff there... "
"Everything was great. We've stayed in other hotels but nothing compares to the Pier House. Great staff, bed was super comfortable and the views were spectacular. Would definitely stay again! "
