This was my 1st return trip to Idaho since I left many years ago. Nampa may have grown, however, it still has the same small town feel. The people are still friendly and welcoming; willing to talk to strangers and make sure you feel welcome.

Its a beautiful and scenic area but a nearby business/plant that processes sugar beets frequently emits a foul/noticeably strong odor when outdoors that is rather disgusting. Other than the odor, Nampa is an awesome place.

Many of the smaller businesses have closed. The Karcher Mall area is nearly gone. The big stores and restaurants have closed and gone to Boise. The area has turned into apartment complexes. I was disappointed to return to the place I grew up.

There were a few one-way roads, so be aware and "trust" that your map app is correct when it takes you a block or two past where you think you should be going. (from my experience)

The Greek restaurant was awesome, one of the best meals that I have had in a long time.

I love the fact that Walmart is within walking distance and there are other great places close by.

Love Nampa, I hope the city starts to care for it the way they do Boise.
"Although it wasn't a Ada room, the bathroom was plenty big enough. And so was the shower, grab handles would be beneficial inside the shower, not just for AD. A people, but for others as well. The breakfast downstairs in the morning was excellent, good variety. And the omelet chef was phenomenal, my dad really loved it."

"We will definitely stay here again. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet, super convenient location and great staff. My only suggestion is that the bath towels were almost threadbare and made it feel like a much cheaper hotel. Also, the complimentary shampoo was terrible. We’ll be back but I’ll bring my own shampoo."
