Had never been to Athens, but is a great stop off point for a long trip. Safe, little traffic congestion, easy to get on and off the expressway. And clean.

Good
The desk clerk told us where to get a pizza. Marcos was easy to get to and cheesy good. It seem like a nice quiet town, but it was a Sunday.

Excellent
It was great except for traffic. Good lord yall need more red lights and less stop signs.
"Staff was great! They recently had a remodel and did away with carpet which is a plus. However, you could tell that they rushed a few things, ie outlet covers missing and fixtures in bathroom with a gap for ceiling and plate cover. Cleanliness was excellent and staff extremely friendly which is a priority. They were also able to get me an early check in which I really appreciated. "
"The bed, pillows, and comforter were perfect after a long day on the road. Room temperature was comfortable and the shower was just what I needed to great ready for the day. Also enjoyed the breakfast."
