Elyria is easily accessible from both I-80 and I-90 and is mid-way between Massachusetts and Minnesota, making a two-day drive possible and not too difficult.

I grew up there but it's not as nice or safe of a city as the 70s and 80s, but is anywhere. Seems they're trying to fix up the town
