"My husband and I, along with our dog Oscar (a mini Dachshund), stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Huntsville/Space Center for our one-year wedding anniversary.
Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a pleasant atmosphere.
On our first night, we had dinner at the restaurant in the lobby. The food was decent, though the flavors were a bit underwhelming, and the prices were about what you'd expect at a hotel restaurant.
We did enjoy our stay, but there were a couple of disappointments. The pool was not very clean — it was the first weekend of fall, so there were leaves floating in the water, and the bottom of the pool looked dirty even though the water itself was clear.
We booked a Peloton room, but the footbase on the bike was missing, which made it difficult to use properly.
Lastly, there was no Bible in the room. That’s not a major issue for us, as I had my personal one for church on Sunday, but I had thought that was standard in most hotel rooms.
Despite a few small issues, we appreciated the overall cleanliness and comfort of the hotel, and we enjoyed our anniversary weekend."
