"We’ve been staying at this hotel almost every year for about the last six. It’s always been an outstanding property. I have to say this year I noticed quite a bit of deterioration of the property. The carpets and chairs in the lobby are badly stained, and it appeared the A/C wasn’t working either. The landscaping on the front side of the building is nothing but overgrown weeds. The toilet in our room ran constantly. Granted this didn’t necessarily impede our stay, but it doesn’t present the place too well. I’m not sure if ownership has changed or what caused this. The room itself seemed clean and the staff was pleasant."

"We had been traveling for 4 days and this was by far the nicest place we stayed in. The staff are all extremely helpful, especially Caden, the concierge, at the front desk, who gave us good restaurant/ coffee shops recommendations and helped us a lot with directions and parking logistics. The room was beautiful, tasteful decor, very comfortable bed and pillows and two complimentary water bottles awaiting us when we arrived. Nice size small fridge, not filled with drinks like so many places. Gorgeous bathroom with a strong flow of apparently endless hot water. Very large windows with lots of light. This is a renovated historic building on the corner of Baltimore St. which is a historical neighborhood filled with great restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and an ice cream parlor. We were able to take a self guided walking architectural tour starting at the entrance to the hotel. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel."
