Jackson Hole has always been a skier's mountain. I went the first time in 1988, again in 2003, and now in 2025, and while the Village has grown in size, it's still all about apres ski. Ski, apres ski, eat dinner, and go to bed. It shuts down by 9p.

This was our first time in Wyoming and we thought Teton Village was cute. However it was farther from downtown Jackson than it seemed on the maps, esp since they were doing construction on the main road into Jackson.

Teton village is limited (small) but what's there is really good. Loved Cowboy Coffee (every day for breakfast). Enjoyed Teton Thai and Shin Shin (for dinners).

Not everything was open, because, I am assuming because it was at the is end of the season. But our overall experience was great.

We barely made it with enough fuel because there are no fuel stations in the parks. With a bit of luck we managed to find one between the parks. Beware at the end of season!
"This was our first Hostel experience. Glad we did. The room was simple but sufficient for us; we were in the park all day anyways. It’s not very soundproof. Our second night there, there were drunk guys upstairs. But the noise stopped before I went to bed. Recommend for affordable stay. Best part—5G network in Teton Village!!!"
"The property has a 40 mins drive to Grand Teton and we had two encounters with moose along the road, both in the early morning. It's quite amazing.
The room is spacious and clean. Staff is really nice. 20 mins drive to Jackson and no lack of dinning and shopping options. "
