Jackson is a nice town - seemed more charming than N Conway. It was fun to drive though a covered bridge on the way to Eagle Mtn. We enjoyed our breakfast at the nearby J'town Deli. Good place to pick up sandwiches before hitting the road.

Jackson has a well-deserved reputation for outdoor sports (I did XC skiing). I made a mistake by booking during February school vacation (for MA and other states). Everyone was pleasant, but there aren't many restaurants -too full of too many people

White Mountains, especially the drive on Hwy 302 is incredible. The Cog Railway is telling the truth when it says it's the most erratic weather. We visited on Oct 7th. It was a beautiful 49 degrees but at summit was a blizzard - complete white out!

Jackson is a small quaint and quiet town that doesn't look as though it has a lot to offer, but you can find all the hidden gems when you really look.

Center location to travel to various area for shopping dining out. You must want to drive to locations around you.
"This property is SO CHILD FRIENDLY! From the moment you check in, they offer complimentary juice and cookies. There are kid friendly activities throughout the day from movies in the movie theater to ice cream socials and games. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
There's a market basket and outlets next door. Totally recommend grabbing pizza and sandwiches at MB. Their prices and pizza are both great!
It's a 5 minute drive to downtown N Conway and about 10-15 minutes to story land.
The rooms are comfortable. Beds are comfortable but the blankets are very light - if you like a heavier blanket, I suggest you bring one with you. The only con would be that the rooms are very dry. If you have a baby, like we did, I would recommend bringing a humidifier. We all came back with a cold due to the dry conditions.
Indoor pool is very cold. Outdoor pool is the perfect temperature. The kiddie pool is also freezing so our littles enjoyed the outdoor pool best. We loved the kid sized robes that were provided in the room!
Food choices at the restaurant are so so for lunch and dinner. The restaurants in the area close early and some don't take takeout orders so plan accordingly. Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant is good. Coffee is a bit watery but I like strong coffee so that's more of a personal feel.
There's free complimentary charging for EV vehicles too which is awesome and so convenient.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!"
"Love this B&B! From before check-in to check out Brian and Diane were super thoughtful and considerate from asking about food allergies/dislikes to making sure that you were all set with everything that you needed. I loved the creative breakfasts! Also, the fact that they had provided not only disposable makeup remover cloths but also had special washcloths that were specifically labeled for makeup in my room. This was especially helpful to me as I was up there for my brothers wedding at the famous "Omni Mount Washington Hotel". They were very helpful when it came to advice or tips about things in the area. I will 100% be recommending them to friends and family, in addition to planning another stay myself!"
"Very nice room, the place had a nice walkable layout, we used the fire pit, the pool was heated, close to several restaurants and lots of good motorcycling roads. "
"The view from our room, and I think all rooms was amazing! Most of the hotels have a lot of trees behind so you don't get a good view but this one was fantastic! The room was basic but clean, everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our stay was amazing!"
"Staff was very friendly and helpful. On our way out one of the days, the staff person asked where we were headed, and she made sure we had been offered one of the coupons the Inn had for where we were headed.
The room size was exceptional, and onsite dining was very good. The porch features a wonderful view of the mountains while you dine.
Looking forward to returning very soon!
