East Peoria is not a tourist mecca. The location is safe and clean, and it is easy to get wherever you need to go. There are plenty of places to eat close by, most of which are fast food. You could walk to the shopping area and the small downtown.

We were only there for one night, we were seeing a concert at the Civic Center. We had hoped to stay out for a bit after the ceoncert let out but most bars/restaurants were closed already. Bummer.

East Peoria as a whole is ok. Hotel sets on the dirty Illinois River and nice view of homeless tents on the river.

My daughter attends Bradley U and i always enjoy my visits to Peoria.
"Building is old but clean and appears to have fresh paint and updates recently, don’t the exterior be the deciding factor. Beds are comfortable, updated fixtures, friendly staff. Not much of a breakfast, more of a snackfast. My only complaint is they need bigger refrigerators in their rooms. Stayed 2 1/2 weeks"
"House cleaning needs to be checked behind. Cleaning multiple surfaces with dirty water such as mirrors, bathroom counters, desk and side table. My last 2 visits have shown a noticeable difference. It’s all about the detail. "
