It was very easy to drive our rental car around town, and back & forth to Melbourne Orlando Airport. The roads are kept nice and smooth, the drivers were not aggressive, and they actually drove the speed limit (!). Lots of cute shops and restaurants.

Quaint little beach town. Ron Jon's Surf Shop was the teenagers favorite shop in town and probably mine too! Had some great Poke nearby. And spent some time at the beach. A great time by all!

Check the launch schedule. There are many places in Canaveral to catch the launches. Manatee sanctuary is a must see but be aware seeing a Manatee is not guaranteed. GolfnGator was also a very fun experience for moni golf and feeding alligators.

First time visiting Cape Canaveral. We loved the laid back feel, something we hardly experience living in LA, CA. Plenty of activities to do in the area although most places require an Uber or Lyft to get around. Attractions are not walking distance.

It was a little crowded, but it's like a hub for cruising, so it's understandable, it was handled well then in spite-of all the people

There is no where close to walk if you need something. We had to Lyft to a convenience store.

Busy place. Plan on getting a ride way ahead of your scheduled cruise departure.
"The staff members were very kind and helpful for our first family cruise trip. They booked our transportation to our cruise ship and provided parking for our vehicle. It was very smooth and convenient. Will come back again for our next cruise ship! "
"From the minute we arrived the people at front desk were super friendly and quick. My son accidentally left his expensive computer in the room and he did not realize it. From the ship we contacted the hotel and they had found his computer and put in lock up until we got off our cruise. Thankful for the honest staff!!!"
