Imagine strolling along Lost Peninsula Marina for some great waterfront pics. It's located 4.5 mi (7.2 km) from central Erie. If you carry on walking you'll get to Nugent Beach and Carland Beach for some more water views.
"All the employees we came across were very nice. The room was fine, AC worked well, clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub were open late which was great, though it would be nice if after a certain time (9/10pm for example) it was adults only. Just a suggestion, as we went at 10:30pm and it was quiet and then we were bombarded by huge groups of kids that took over the whole space. The hot tub had a lot of foam and there was a lot of hair in the pool? Assume it was a specific guest and not a regular thing.
Breakfast was good. The gravy for the biscuits was tasty. Would suggest adding a meat of some kind (sausage patties, bacon etc.) unless they were just out when we were there.
Located close to the highway with lots of dining options nearby. 5 minute walk to the Cracker Barrel.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and if we are ever in the area we’d stay again.
Thanks!"
"This is not only a place to sleep but an experience. The room was immaculate and huge. It was like being in an apartment. It was quiet and had everything I would need if I were staying longer. The restaurant food was extremely good. The Pimento Cornbread was indescribably delicious. The bartender was attentive although there were several patrons there. He did an awesome job, especially being by himself. I've stayed at some great hotels but this one tops them all! I will be staying here when I'm back in town! "
